This policy explains what data TCCore.uk (“this site”) collects, why, and what choices you have. It also covers tcsnaps.co.uk, a second address for the site's TC Snaps section — the same site, operator, and data handling. The site is operated by TC, contactable at contact@tccore.co.uk.
What this site collects
There are four ways data can reach this site, and each is handled differently:
- Server logs. Like any website, requests to this site are logged by the host (Vercel) for security and reliability. These logs include your IP address, browser user-agent, and the page requested. They are kept only for a short retention period set by Vercel and are not used to identify or profile you. This happens regardless of the cookie banner, on the legal basis of legitimate interest in keeping the site running and secure.
- The contact forms (on TC Snaps and Roth hub) send the email address, subject, and message you type to the site operator's inbox via Resend, an email-delivery service. Nothing you submit is stored in a database — it's only ever relayed as an email. Resend processes it solely to deliver that email.
- Analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) records anonymous, aggregated page-view data — which pages get visited, referrers, rough device/browser type, and country. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't collect personal information, and can't track you across other sites. It only runs if you accept the cookie banner — see below.
- The OSRS price tool (under Roth hub) can save a flip journal and item favourites using your browser's local storage, if you choose to use those features. That data stays on your device — it's never sent to the site operator or any third party.
Cookies
This site does not set any cookies until you accept the cookie banner. Once accepted, it enables Vercel Web Analytics, which — as noted above — is cookieless by design; accepting simply switches that anonymous, aggregated collection on. If you reject or ignore the banner, no analytics runs at all. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer, or by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.
Third parties
This site relies on a small number of external services to operate:
- Vercel — hosting, server logs, and (once accepted) anonymous analytics.
- Resend — delivers contact-form messages by email.
No data is sold, shared for advertising, or used for profiling.
How long data is kept
- Contact-form emails stay in the operator's inbox until the enquiry is dealt with, and are then deleted — typically within 12 months. Ask any time and it will be removed sooner.
- Server logs are kept for the short period set by Vercel (a matter of days) and then discarded.
- Analytics data is aggregated and retained by Vercel with no way to tie it back to you.
- Anything stored in your browser (the OSRS tool's flip journal and favourites, your cookie choice) stays until you clear it.
Where your data goes
Contact-form messages are processed in the EU (Ireland) before landing in the operator's inbox. Hosting, server logs, and analytics run through Vercel, a US company, so those involve a transfer outside the UK; Vercel and Resend (the email provider) are both US-based and cover that transfer with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. No data is transferred anywhere else.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask to see, correct, or delete any personal data this site holds about you (in practice, this means a contact-form email that hasn't yet been deleted from the operator's inbox). To do so, email contact@tccore.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
Changes to this policy
If what this site collects or how it's used changes, this page will be updated and the date above revised.
